While this class mainly focuses on the abdominals and the glutes, you will likely walk away from your mat feeling like your entire body got work. Remember, to truly get the most out of your Pilates exercise, you likely have to engage more than just the muscle groups that are actively working. You will undoubtedly feel your abdominals in the plank work, but you better believe your shoulders and upper back are also working hard.

Class 226: Pilates & Strength 4
Welcome back to another Pilates and Strength class. You need one medium dumbbell (you could also use two lighter dumbbells, with one in each hand). This one definitely got my heart rate up, so enjoy!
Class 225: Reformer on the Mat
Welcome to a new “Reformer on the Mat” class. This class uses hand weights to mimic the resistance we get on the reformer. If the weights become too much, don’t be afraid to put them to the side and keep moving. This class’s abdominal and upper body work makes it a burner, but my favorite is the rowing series. Unsurprisingly, some of my favorite moves from the reformer are also some of my favorites in this class.
Class 224: Quickie 21
Welcome to my new home studio outside of Philadelphia. This full-body quickie gets the body moving and comfortable with the new space. I will play with the filming setup and see what works best. Please feel free to share feedback.
Class 223: PSM Play 2
Welcome back to playtime with the TRX. Movement should be fun, and this class is not only a great time but also a super burner. Let me know what series was your favorite. I love the single-leg feet in strap work myself, and it is absolutely killer.
Class 222: Pilates & Strength 3
Ready for another Pilates & Strength Class? The weight series in this class uses only one dumbbell, but it packs a punch. On the mat, expect lots of good rotation and flexion work to help increase your strength and mobility.
Class 2021: Back-to-School Quickie (2024)
It’s that time of year when school starts back up, and the time we have to devote to our workouts starts to dwindle. Or maybe you are about to get a lot more time back once your kids go back to school. Either way, the good news is that as a member, you have tons of classes under 30 minutes to keep you moving. This year’s back-to-school quickie is dedicated to all the moms, dads, teachers, and administrators.
Class 2020: Pilates and Strength 2
Like previous Pilates and Strength classes, we start and end with a dumbbell series. I love the abdominal work on the mat; pushing into your legs as your legs push into your hands really deepens the work. Remember, you get out what you put in, so really focus on creating that resistance.
Class 219: PSM Play 1
This full-body Pilates Suspension Method (PSM) class is designed to challenge your body while still being “fun.” There is a joke in the Pilates community that if your Pilates instructor says something is fun, you will probably die, haha. I don’t know if that is true, but we will work.
If this is your first PSM class, make sure you check out Tutorial: How to Mount and Adjust your TRX.
Class 218: Circle Band Quickie
Ready for some circle band fun? We start standing, working the legs, hips, and glutes before taking it down to the mat to get into our abdominals and upper body. Remember, if the band becomes cumbersome, you can always omit it; just keep moving.
I am using a band similar to this one. Feel free to use what you have or make your own circle band from a TheraBand. I am using the latex version, but the cloth ones also work great. Just ensure you can get a good range of motion, no matter what band you choose.
Class 217: Classical Flow Fun
Have fun getting a great workout with this classical flow. Working through the classical Pilates order and minimizing transition makes for a challenging and fun class.
Class 216: Pilates & Strength
Pilates + Weight Training makes for a perfect full-body class. We start with a standing weight set before taking it down to the mat to target our abs and a second shot at the weight set.
Class 215: PSM Lower Body Favs
This Pilates Suspension Method (PSM) class is all about the lower body. We start with footwork in hammock mode before a facial bounce series to get the heart rate up. Once we take it to the mat, your back body is really going to get a workout with the suspended footbar series. No worries, though, before we finish with some yummy stretches.
If you want a 60-minute full-body workout, this class pairs perfectly with my PSM Upper Body Favs class.
If this is your first PSM class, watch my Tutorial: Mount and Adjust your TRX.
Class 214: Small Ball Quickie
This ab-heavy quickie uses the small ball for a big impact. The quadruped work with the small ball is no joke. Have fun, and know you can always remove the ball if needed.
Class 213: 4th of July Quickie
Ready for some fireworks?! It’s time for our annual Independence Day Quickie. Have fun breaking a sweat with this class, then get out and spend some time with family and friends (responsibly, of course).
Class 212: Relax & Stretch
Ready for a quick class designed to relax and stretch you from head to toe? This is a great class to do after a cardio or strength workout. Enjoy!
Class 211: PSM Upper Body Favs
This PSM class shows your upper body lots of love. While you can still expect a full-body workout, we pay special attention to your arms, shoulders, back, and abs.
Check out Tutorial: Mount and Adjust your TRX if this is your first PSM class.
Class 210: Chair Pilates
Grab a kitchen or dining chair, and let’s move. This class is fun and challenging. The chair supports and challenges, much like the Pilates apparatus. You will leave this session feeling strong and stretched.
