Class 114: Balancing Mat

This class focuses on unilateral work to find balance from one side of the body to another. When our body is balanced, left to right, front to back, it works more efficiently and helps to prevent pain and injury. I am exceptionally right dominant, so unilateral work is especially challenging when I must primarily use my left side. This class should help you to discover your imbalances. Once you know, you can work on correcting those imbalances within other classes and your daily activities. Enjoy and let me know how it felt in your own body in the comments.

Class 113: Quickie 11

This class is our 11th Quickie, and as always, you can expect a full-body workout. We’re starting with abdominal work, then stretching out our spines before getting into leg and hip work, planks, and closing it out with a push-up variation.

Pilates Jump Start: Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 and the last day of the Pilates Jump Start! Congrats on completing Day 1 and Day 2 and finishing strong! Today’s class will build on the work we did during our previous sessions. You can expect another full-body Pilates workout with new exercises and variations to keep you challenged. Don’t be afraid to check out the modifications. Remember Pilates meets you where you are, and the modifications are just as effective.

Pilates Jump Start: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Pilates Jump Start! Congrats on completing Day 1 and coming back for more! Today’s class will build on the work we did on Day 1. You can expect another full-body Pilates workout with new exercises and variations to keep you challenged. Don’t be afraid to check out the modifications (or ask me for an appropriate modification for your own body). Remember, Pilates meets you where you are, and the modifications are just as effective.

Pilates Jump Start: Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Pilates Jump Start! Congrats on committing to your movement practice today. This class is a full-body foundational Pilates workout. However, foundational does not mean easy. We will work hard, but don’t worry; I have plenty of modifications and variations available to keep this class accessible to everyone.

Class 112: Hand Weight Burn

I love arm work and the added challenge of adding a little weight to exercise our body already knows. It changes the work and adds challenge. This class is upper body heavy but also has some tremendous abdominal work. Do not be afraid to add or decrease weight. If the weights ever become too much, just set them aside and keep moving.

Class 111: Booty Band Class 2

The Booty Band (circle band) is always a crowd favorite. This class has a lot of upper body and upper back work. It will work wonders on improving your posture and counteracting the forward flexion that occupies much of our daily lives.

I am using a latex-like circle band, but you can certainly use the fabric circle bands that I have used in previous classes.
