This is another class that has no forward flexion (think traditional crunches) and further proves that you can get a great abdominal workout without crunches. We spend so much time flexing our spines (think about looking down at your phone). Any opportunity to reverse that or train our body to combat the strain all this flexion puts on our body is great!
We start the class with a variation of the abdominal series but propped up on your forearms. If this is too taxing or you have trouble stabilizing your shoulders, you can prop yourself up with a pillow or drop the upper body down to the mat. Enjoy!
