The list goes on and on, and your reasons for exercising may or may not be different from everyone else. The beauty of this challenge is that it will show you the power of a regular movement practice with minimal lifestyle changes. Pilates is a low-impact high-reward modality. It is suitable for everyone and works your body efficiently and effectively. You will never get off your mat feeling worse than when you rolled it out. The classes in this challenge are 30 minutes or less. You can find 30 minutes 3 times a week to put yourself first and do something good for your body and mind. And this challenge is totally FREE.
You will receive 12 classes (4 whole body, four upper body, and four lower body focused). The classes are multilevel and designed to grow with you. Many modifications and variations are offered throughout the challenge to keep the work challenging and accessible. You will also have access to me for specific modifications and variations for your particular needs throughout the entire challenge. Each class will build on the previous class helping to develop your Pilates practice safely and effectively. You will receive all three of the week’s lessons on Sunday. You are welcome to do them as many times as you want.
Additionally, you will have access to the entire program for 90 days, giving you plenty of time to revisit favorites and continue to build on your progress well into 2023. I know you are inundated with weight loss ads and gym promotions at the start of the new year. Giving you 90 days to complete the program allows you the mental space to do the work when ready.
You will also have direct access to me for the entire program. I will be able to answer specific questions about exercises and how they work best in your body. You will also have access to my entire library of exercise tutorials. This will help you fine-tune and dive deeper into exercises that may be new to you or particularly challenging.
One thing this program is not. This is not a weight loss program. While Pilates can help you lose weight, just like any exercise program, it is not the focus of our work. It doesn’t burn hundreds of calories a minute like high-intensity cardio. It does help you build strength which does wonders for your body when it comes to weight loss. If weight loss is a goal for 2023, then you are, of course, welcome to join us in the challenge, but I won’t be focused on it within the program.
I have said it before and will continue to say it; I have never met someone who couldn’t benefit from Pilates. It is a near-perfect exercise system that is safe and effective for everyone regardless of age, gender, or exercise experience. If you have wanted to return to a Pilates practice or if you have been hearing about it and are finally ready to take the first step, there has never been a better time.
