Far and away, the exercise that my clients dread more than any other is push-ups (with The Hundred being a close second). This is such a shame because push-ups are so good for you, and they work the entire body. That is exactly why they are so challenging. Push-ups require full body integration with proper technique and strength to get the most out of the exercise.

I designed this 3-Part Serie to help you gain technique and strength to tackle push-ups confidently.

Build a Better Push-up: Class 1

Welcome to Class 1. This class will help you: develop your proper push-up form and strengthen your shoulders, all while giving you a total body workout.

Build a Better Push-Up: Class 2

Welcome to Class 2! Today’s theme is Elevate. Not only are we going to elevate your push-up, but we are also going to elevate your actual body to make your push-up more accessible while continuing to build strength and perfect your form.

Expect another full-body class that will continue to strengthen your body and improve your endurance so you can confidently tackle your push-ups. You will need a box, ottoman, coffee table, or some sturdy surface to use for the find part of this class. You can always jump and use a wall if that is all that is available to you!

Build a Better Push-up: Class 3

In our third and final class in the Build a Better Push-Up Series, we will continue to strengthen our bodies and fine-tune our push-up technique.

After warming up with a sternum drop series, we move into abdominal work that also challenges the upper body, particularly our shoulders and triceps (super important for good push-ups). We round out the class with some challenging hip and extension work and finish by testing out our push-up form to see how far we have come in the series.
