Class 97: Feel Good Flow

It is crucial to understand that not every workout has to be intense and challenging on the body. Not every workout should put a ton of stress on the body. A class does not need to make you sore to be effective. We need rest and recovery.

This is a feel-good flow that I would use as an active recovery class. We do some excellent mobility work, and after this class, you should feel energized and ready to tackle the rest of your day or week! You definitely want to make sure you are doing some sort of active recovery weekly.

Class 96: Balance Challenge

You are never too young or too old to work on your balance. Pilates is fantastic for balance because it focuses on a strong center, which is key to good balance. This class starts with some balance exercises that you can use to gauge how you are doing balance-wise. The majority of the class is spent connecting with our center through strong abdominal work to help you improve the connections needed to help with balance. We finish the way we started and see how our ability has changed after warming up the body and connecting with our center. Enjoy!

If you know that you struggle with balance, have a chair or wall nearby for safety if you need a balance aid during the standing work. Safety First!
