Part 3: When all else fails….Wait for the New Year
Ok, so you have planned your workouts, de-conflicted your family gatherings, office cocktail parties, and holiday Hallmark movie marathons. You are getting up earlier, working out during your lunch hour, shortening or just working out less. Reminding yourself that the important thing is you are still doing something to get your body moving.
Or maybe you haven’t….what happens if you actually don’t do any of that?!
Give yourself permission to just enjoy this season. Remember that it is almost the start of a brand new year; a fresh start, new beginning, clean slate! If my suggestions in Parts 1 and 2 were just not resonating with you remember that 2020 is just around the corner and as cliché as it sounds, the New Year is a great time to start over.
So if you didn’t reach all your goals in 2019 or if the holidays set you back remember that you can always decide to make a change – whether it is on January 1st or July 1st. Only you have the power to make the changes in your life that you want to see. I will give you all the tools and support you along the way, but YOU have to make the decision.
